These Website Terms of Use / Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a legally binding agreement between you and NeuroEdge Psychological Services (“NeuroEdge,” “Practice,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) regarding your access to and use of the NeuroEdge Psychological Services website and related online pages, forms, resources, or links (collectively, the “Service”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional notices posted on the website. If you do not agree, you do not have permission to use the Service.
1. Purpose of the Website
The Service is intended to provide general information about NeuroEdge Psychological Services, including our clinical approach, virtual service model, California service area, contact information, and educational resources related to psychological and neuropsychological assessment, consultation, cognitive and behavioral health concerns, autism spectrum presentations, ADHD, learning concerns, memory concerns, trauma, and related topics.
The Service is not a substitute for individualized professional care, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, legal advice, educational placement decisions, disability determination, forensic opinion, or emergency services.
2. No Medical, Psychological, Neuropsychological, or Legal Advice
The Service does not provide medical advice, psychological advice, neuropsychological interpretation, diagnosis, treatment, legal opinion, disability determination, forensic opinion, or individualized clinical recommendation. Any information on the Service is provided for general informational and educational purposes only.

3. No Provider-Patient Relationship
Your use of the Service, including reading website content, submitting an inquiry form, sending an email, leaving a voicemail, sending an SMS/text message, scheduling a consultation request, or interacting with online links, does not create a psychologist-patient relationship, evaluator-client relationship, forensic evaluator relationship, consultant relationship, or any other professional relationship with NeuroEdge Psychological Services.
A professional relationship is established only after NeuroEdge determines that services are appropriate, receives required consent and intake documentation, confirms relevant licensure and jurisdictional requirements, and formally accepts the individual or referral for services.
4. Virtual-Only Services
NeuroEdge Psychological Services is currently a virtual-only practice. The website may list a mailing address for correspondence, records requests, legal notices, insurance, privacy matters, or administrative purposes. The mailing address is not a walk-in clinic location. NeuroEdge does not provide unscheduled in-person services, walk-in appointments, or emergency services.
5. No Emergency or Crisis Services
The Service is not intended for emergencies. NeuroEdge Psychological Services does not provide emergency services through the website, email, general contact forms, voicemail, SMS/text messaging, secure messaging, telehealth links, online scheduling tools, or social media.
If you are experiencing a medical, psychiatric, psychological, or safety emergency, call 911 immediately or go to the nearest emergency room. 6. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service independently. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
7. Telehealth and Location Requirements
Telehealth is a mode of delivering psychological health care services; it is not a separate type of clinical service. Telehealth services are provided only when NeuroEdge determines that the service is clinically appropriate, legally permitted, and within the scope of the provider’s licensure and competence.
Before initiating telehealth services, NeuroEdge will obtain and document informed consent specific to telehealth. Telehealth consent may address confidentiality and security risks, data storage policies, possible disruption or interruption due to technology failure, insurance coverage considerations, the limits and differences between in-person and telehealth services, the patient’s physical location, availability of local emergency resources, and whether telehealth is appropriate for the patient’s needs.
Patients, clients, examinees, or legal representatives may be asked to confirm their physical location at the time of telehealth services and provide an emergency contact or local emergency resource when clinically appropriate. NeuroEdge may decline, pause, or refer services if telehealth is not appropriate or if services cannot be provided lawfully in the jurisdiction where the patient/client/examinee or provider is located.
8. Communications and Electronic Contact
By contacting NeuroEdge Psychological Services electronically or providing your contact information, you agree that we may use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, communicate with you, coordinate scheduling, provide information about services, or address administrative needs. Standard email, general website forms, and ordinary SMS may not be appropriate for sensitive clinical information unless specifically routed through a secure method approved by the Practice.
NeuroEdge intends to use Office Ally for EHR/practice management, scheduling, documents, and insurance claims, and Spruce for SMS/text messaging, voicemail, secure links to forms, and telehealth appointment links. Additional consents, privacy notices, or platform terms may apply.
9. SMS/Text Message Communications
If you provide a mobile number and agree to receive SMS/text messages, NeuroEdge Psychological Services may send limited messages related to scheduling, administrative reminders, forms, service coordination, telehealth links, billing reminders, or other practice-related communications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary.
You may opt out of non-essential SMS communications at any time by replying STOP, if supported by Spruce or the applicable messaging system, or by contacting NeuroEdge at info@NeuroEdgePsych.com or [PHONE NUMBER]. SMS should not be used for emergencies, crisis communications, or detailed clinical information unless specifically instructed through a secure communication workflow.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by the NeuroEdge Psychological Services Privacy Policy. Health information that becomes Protected Health Information may also be governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable federal and California privacy laws, including HIPAA and California medical privacy laws when applicable.
11. Third-Party Websites, Platforms, and Tools
The Service may include links to third-party websites, telehealth platforms, scheduling systems, payment processors, form tools, educational resources, social media pages, or other services. These third-party services are not controlled by NeuroEdge Psychological Services. NeuroEdge is not responsible for their content, availability, privacy practices, security practices, accessibility, or terms of use.

Unless otherwise stated, the text, design, graphics, layout, service descriptions, branding, logos, educational content, and other materials on this website are owned by or licensed to NeuroEdge Psychological Services. These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another state’s law must apply by law. Any permitted court proceeding related to these Terms or the Service shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court located in Ventura County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
