NeuroEdge Psychological Services is committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of health information. As a California virtual psychology/neuropsychology practice, we maintain safeguards intended to protect information that identifies you or that could reasonably be used to identify you, including information related to psychological, neuropsychological, developmental, behavioral health, cognitive, assessment, consultation, telehealth, billing, insurance, and administrative services.

This HIPAA Notice is intended to help visitors understand that NeuroEdge Psychological Services follows applicable federal and California privacy requirements regarding Protected Health Information (“PHI”). A more complete explanation of how PHI may be used and disclosed, and your rights regarding that information, is provided in our full Notice of Privacy Practices.



Virtual-Only Practice

NeuroEdge Psychological Services is currently a virtual-only practice. We do not provide walk-in services, emergency services, or routine in-person services through a public office location. A mailing address may be provided for administrative, legal, privacy, and records-related correspondence.


Technology Platforms

NeuroEdge intends to use Office Ally as a HIPAA-compliant EHR/practice management platform for scheduling, documents, and insurance claim submission. NeuroEdge intends to use Spruce as a HIPAA-compliant platform for SMS/text messaging, voicemail, sending secure links to forms, and telehealth appointment links. These tools should be used only as directed by NeuroEdge and are not emergency communication channels.

The full Notice of Privacy Practices explains how your health information may be used and disclosed for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, legally required disclosures, public health, health oversight, judicial or administrative proceedings, law enforcement, workers’ compensation, and other circumstances permitted or required by law. It also explains your rights to request access to records, request corrections, request restrictions, request confidential communications, receive an accounting of certain disclosures, obtain a paper copy of the Notice, and receive notice if you are affected by a breach of unsecured PHI.


Website Use Does Not Create a Professional Relationship


Using this website, reading information on this website, submitting a general inquiry, leaving a voicemail, sending a text message, or requesting a consultation does not create a psychologist-patient relationship, evaluator-client relationship, forensic evaluator relationship, consultant relationship, or treatment relationship with NeuroEdge Psychological Services. A professional relationship is established only after appropriate intake, informed consent, documentation, jurisdictional review, and formal acceptance of services.


No Emergency Services Through This Website

This website and NeuroEdge’s routine communication systems are not monitored for emergencies.
